SRINAGAR: Upping the ante on Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti over her alleged ‘business as usual act’ during the current unrest in the valley, main opposition National Conference (NC) working president Omar Abdullah today said that “it is amazing thing that it took 31 days and more than 50 deaths to disturb her.”
“So @MehboobaMufti has finally given up on her “business as usual” act & rushed to Delhi instead,” Mr Abdullah, who is the former chief minister of the State, wrote on micro-blogging site twitter. “The amazing thing is that it’s taken 31 days & more than 50 deaths to finally “disturb” the Chief Minister,” he added.
Mr Abdullah was reacting to reports that Ms Mehbooba will meet Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today in Delhi. (AGENCIES)
