JAMMU, Dec 11: Three IT professionals here took an initiative and started a dairy farm to supply pure milk to the people of Jammu.
Jatin Singh, Arnav Seth and Harsimar Singh-all IT professionals named the dairy farm as ‘Khra Khet’ and jointly started the unit at Trikuta Nagar.
The dairy farm ‘Khra Khet’ was inaugurated today by senior BJP leader and MLA Bahu, Vikram Randhawa.
“We have brought cows of good breed and to feed them fodder of good quality will be purchased from Punjab,” Arnav Seth, one of the proprietors informed adding that there will be a guarantee of purity of milk.
The proprietors said that initially they will be selling only milk but slowly they will also ensure supply of other milk products like curd, cheese etc.
“Nominal price will be fixed for the sale of milk but there will be a guarantee of quality,” Seth maintained.
The proprietors further said that milking will be done by special type of machines to ensure proper hygiene and the latest dairy technologies will be adopted at the dairy farm.
The proprietors Jatin Singh, Arnav Seth and Harsimar Singh have asked the people of Jammu to encourage them by trying milk from their dairy farm to taste the difference.
