JAMMU, Nov 1: Kashmiri Displaced United Council (KDUC) in a meeting here today held under the chairmanship of its convener Vinod Tickoo has expressed concern over the opposition by certain organizations in distributions of ration coupons on monthly basis.
The meeting which was also addressed by president of the Council Ravi Bhat said that there is no harm if the coupons are given on monthly basis as some organizations have unnecessarily made it a prestigious issue to divert attention of the displaced people from real issues like delay in implementation of employment package, rehabilitation of community living in exile for last 26 years now, rehabilitation of unemployed overaged youth the community, political representation in legislature and Government etc.
