JAMMU, Jan 25: J&K chapter of Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction (ISAR) has announced its new team for a period of two years (2025-2027).
The new team comprised of Dr Anil Mehta (Ex-HoD Obst. & Gynaecologist, GMC Kathua) as chairperson, Dr Manisha Bhagat (Centre Head, Indira IVF Jammu) as vice-chairperson, Dr Amandeep K Anand (Consultant Gynaecologist, Gandhi Nagar) Hospital as general secretary and Dr Rakesh Mahajan (Consultant Gynaecologist, Lajwanti Trust Hospital) as treasurer.
In addition, Dr Vinay Menia (Associate Professor, Obst. & Gynaecologist, SMGS Hospital) and Dr Payal Gupta (Consultant Gynaecologist, ESI Hospital), were elected as advisors to the Chapter, further strengthening the leadership and expertise of the organization. Dr Sunil Chowdhry, the pioneer of IVF in J&K and the Director of Jammu Centre for Human Reproduction, is the patron and founder of the J&K Chapter of ISAR.
The new team reaffirmed the Chapter’s mission to enhance awareness, education, and collaboration in the field of reproductive health and assisted reproduction in J&K. ISAR is a professional organization dedicated to promoting the development of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) and advancing reproductive medicine in India. The society provides education, support and resources to healthcare professionals working in the field of reproductive medicine, while also working towards raising awareness of ART among the public.
