It is unfortunate that attempts are being made to gain political mileage out of even tragedies that shake the nation. Some politicians are demonstrating such an immaturity that the enemies across the globe pick up the threads from their statements for anti India propaganda. What is more unfortunate that even such politicians are involved in such races who are projecting themselves as the future leaders of the nation.
Recently nation remembered the martyrdom of those CRPF men who sacrificed their lives in dastardly terror attack in Pulwama a year ago. Instead of joining the nation in remembering the martyrdom, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made an irresponsible statement about the tragedy. He asked who benefited from the Pulwama attack. The statements speaks volumes about his ill intentions. Even the Congress party instead of distancing from the statement defended it. Such statements are not good for the nation but at the same time are destined to boomerang on the party itself. The party that has lost its leaders to terrorism and even reaped political gains out of such tragedies cannot make such irresponsible statements. To conclude, every issue is not needed to be seen through the prism of politics. Politicians need to demonstrate maturity while reflecting on sensitive issues.
