DUBAI, Apr 8: Iran’s foreign minister said on Tuesday that he and US envoy Steve Witkoff will be in indirect talks in Oman over Tehran’s nuclear programme.
Abbas Araghchi made the comments to Iranian state television while on a visit to Algeria.
There was no immediate acknowledgement from the US that Witkoff would lead the US delegation.
US President Donald Trump had described the talks this Saturday in Oman as being direct talks. (AP)
