JAMMU, May 27: International Daily Rising School organised a leadership programme in its auditorium with enthusiasm and ceremonial splendour to formally appoint the newly elected student council members for the academic session.
The event was graced by DySP Albeena Malik, who interacted with students and motivated them to become disciplined, confident and socially responsible individuals. During her address, she also sensitized students about cyber crimes, online frauds, social media misuse and digital scams. She advised students to maintain strong passwords, avoid suspicious links and calls, protect personal information online and report suspicious activities to parents, teachers or authorities.
The programme commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony and invocation. The event was attended by Chairperson and Founder Supinder Kaur, Managing Director Raghav Gupta, Director Academics-cum-Principal Dr Atul Hans, Vice Principal Pooja Sharma, Administrator Advocate Buvandeep Singh and Junior School Master Pooja Sharma.
The newly elected council members were conferred with badges and sashes during the oath-taking ceremony, pledging to uphold discipline, integrity and dedication towards the school community. Addressing the gathering, Raghav Gupta emphasized leadership with humility and perseverance, while Dr Atul Hans encouraged students to lead by example and strive for excellence in academics and character building.
