JAMMU, Apr 10: International Navkar Diwas was celebrated with deep devotion and spiritual enthusiasm by Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO Jammu) in collaboration with several prominent social organizations.
The programme was jointly arranged by Vichar Kranti Manch International (VKMI), Senior Citizens Joy Society (SCJS), Bharat Vikas Parishad, and Senior Citizens Rejuvenation Centre at the office of VKMI. The event was managed by Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO Jammu) under the leadership of its Town Representative, Sandeep (Sunny) Jain, with active support from Pankaj Jain, Patron Bhartiya Jain Sangthan; Rompi Jain, Vice President BJS; and Neerav Jain, Secretary BJS.
Dr Shreyansh Kumar Jain, Chairman, Senior Citizens Joy Society and President VKMI, set the tone for the spiritual gathering. Ashok Khajuria, Secretary SCJS, enlightened the audience about the theme and purpose of the programme.
Sandeep Jain (Sunny), elaborated in detail on the importance and significance of the Navkar Mahamantra. Ashok Gupta, President SCJS, recited a beautiful and impactful poem depicting the essence and influence of the Navkar Mahamantra.
Active participation was witnessed from members of various NGOs, including K S Samyal, President SCRC; C M Sharma, General Secretary VKMI; Rakesh Misra, General Secretary BVP Shivalik; Dr Ashok Sharma, former Superintendent, Government Ayurvedic College; Narinder Wadhera, Finance Secretary SCJS; J P S Jamwal and Kulbeer Khajuria, noted social activists; Abhinandan Jain, Vice President Nahar Parivar (Jain) Jammu; and Meenakshi Gupta, former AGM, J&K Bank.
On the same occasion, another programme was organized at Lok Bhawan, Jammu, in the presence of Lt Governor Manoj Sinha. The event was attended by Sandeep Jain, Pankaj Jain, Rompi Jain, Neerav Jain, and Dr Shreyansh Kumar Jain. Dr Jain also composed and presented a poem on the Navkar Mantra to the Lieutenant Governor.
Additionally, a spiritual programme was organized at Shree Nageshwar Parshwanath Temple, where collective chanting of the Navkar Mahamantra was performed, followed by a grand Aarti. The programme was graced by the presence of Vikram Randhawa, MLA, Devyani Rana, MLA and Anand Jain, ASGP along with other dignitaries.
