SRINAGAR, Sept 8: The International Film Festival of Srinagar (TIFFS), organised by ‘Vomedh’, will hold its fourth edition on November 13-14, 2025, in Srinagar.
Addressing a press conference here, festival organisers said the event has already received over 100 film submissions from 20 countries, with the last date for entries set for September 30.
Co-Festival Director Rohit Bhat said what began as a “humble initiative” has grown into a movement celebrating both world cinema and Kashmir’s creative spirit.
Festival Director Rakesh Roshan Bhat added that TIFFS has become a global platform showcasing “diverse cinematic voices while positioning Srinagar on the international festival map.”
Jury Head Manzoor Ahmad Mir said the quality of films submitted this year shows the festival is being taken seriously by the global community.
Advisor Bhavna Pandita described TIFFS as “a celebration of Kashmir’s resilience and creativity,” while fellow advisor Dr. Amit Wanchoo said it is creating a platform for Kashmiri stories to “travel beyond boundaries.”
The organisers announced new collaborations, including with Snowtales, an upcoming OTT platform for regional content from J&K.
Its founders have said the tie-up would help “showcase authentic Kashmiri stories to the world.”
Since its inception, organizers said that TIFFS has attracted entries from over 40 countries and featured Bollywood personalities such as B. Subhash, Subhash Kapoor, Atul Tiwari and Kapil Mattoo.
The fourth edition will feature screenings, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions aimed at nurturing local talent and strengthening Srinagar’s cultural profile.
