LEH, Apr 1: The Union Territory Administration today constituted an Internal Committee to examine the final report submitted by New District Committee (NDC) related to the formation of new districts in Ladakh.
The committee, headed by Administrative Secretary, GAD, shall analyse the final report of the NDC in depth and prepare a proposal for implementation of the recommendations of the NDC, for submission to the Ministry of Home Affairs by April 15.
Additional Secretary, Home; Additional Secretary, Finance; Additional Secretary, Law & Justice; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kargil; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Leh; and Chief Engineer, PWD (R&B) are Members of the Internal Committee while Under Secretary to Chief Secretary in GAD is the Member Secretary.
