JAMMU, Feb 20: Inter-School poem recitation and drawing competition was organized by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Public Higher Secondary School in its premises at Kunjwani Talab, here today. The students were categorized into two groups- Group One from class Nursery to UKG and other group from Class Ist to Class 3rd. Chairman Guru Nanak Educational Trust, Prof Harbans Singh and Principal Gurtaj Singh graced the occasion with their presence. Avatar Singh, Gagandeep Kour, Sunita Tickoo and Jaswinder Kour were the judges.
In Junior group Jaipreet Singh of S.G.G.S Public Hr. Sec. School Stood first, Janvi Raina of Apple Kids school got second and Sonali of Cooperative Public school clinched third, spot, while in Senior Group Sonam Chandail of Jammu Public School stood first, Ravleen Kour of Cybernatics School second and Ivika Tuli of Spring Dales Public school claimed third spot.
In painting Competition, Nahida Parveen of S.G.G.S Public school stood first, Jaiveer Singh of Cybernatics School claimed second and Taniya of Muni Kamal School clinched the third position.
Gurtaj Singh Principal of S.G.G.S Public Hr. Sec. School lauded the winners for good display.
Chairman Guru Nanak Educational Trust Prof. Harbans Singh distributed the prizes and certificates among the winners.
