Inner Wheel Club Udhampur organizes eye check-up camp

UDHAMPUR, Nov 6: The Inner Wheel Club Udhampur organized an eye check-up camp under Project Drishti at the Government Girls High School, Shivnagar, Udhampur.
The eye check-up camp was inaugurated by the chief guest, Deputy Commissioner, Saloni Roy, along with District President, Preeti Khajuria.
On the occasion, Saloni Roy, praised the Inner Wheel Club’s social work. “By working for girls and women, we empower them. Such health camps are a commendable step towards the health of our girls,” she added.
The camp provided free eye checkups for 100 students, and health cards were distributed to all the participants. Students with serious eye problems were referred to the Rotary Eye Hospital for further treatment, and female students with refractive errors will also receive free spectacles.
To promote education, the club also distributed free notebooks to 60 students from grades 1 to 6 under the “Mere Kitbag” initiative and provided medical cards for future health needs.
Club President Anu Gandotra, Neelam Baigra, Vinny Khanna, Meenakshi Sharma, Harjeet Kaur, Neelam Buchcha, and other members were present.
