UDHAMPUR, Apr 15: Department of Information and Public Relations in the collaboration with district administration organized a cultural programme on the second day of the historic Devika Baisakhi Mela.
Large number of people belonging to all walks of life witnessed the cultural bonanza comprising of Dogri music, folk dance, customs and social evils.
Artists drawn from different areas of the town conducted cultural programmes depicting rich dogri culture.
During the mela, a photo exhibition was also organised, showcasing the natural picnic spots, heritage monuments, developments projects and historic temples of the district.
Various Departments including Agriculture, Horticulture, Health, Sheep, Apiculture, Handicraft, Handloom and Animal Husbandry put up their stall and educated the masses about State and centrally sponsored schemes.
