JAKARTA, Apr 1: Indonesia’s annual inflation rate in March increased slightly to 6.38 percent, the statistics bureau said on Wednesday, close to the projection in a Reuters poll.
The poll of 20 analysts expected inflation to edge up to 6.40 percent, from 6.29 percent in February. Prices rose 0.17 percent on a monthly basis. Core inflation, which excludes administered prices and volatile food prices, accelerated to 5.04 percent in March from 4.96 percent the previous month. Below are details on March inflation:
