Indian students to refrain from studying in Pakistan

It may be recalled that in the year 2019 , an advisory was issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) against seeking admission and studying in educational institutions in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) as any such studies and the degrees obtained were not recognised in India nor would there be any registration or permission granted to practice in India by such Indian students on the basis of such degrees. Recently ,again, such guidelines having been issued now both by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) urging Indian students not to get enrolled with any of the educational institutes of Pakistan either through on-line basis or by physically going to that country for the purpose, is significant. Such an advisory is also for those Indian students who are desirous of seeking admissions in China.
Not only that such obtained degrees are not recognised in this country but also that the same would not make eligible such students in getting a job in this country or getting any permission for practicing medicine, law or any other profession in India. It is, however, beyond understanding that the levels of the standard of Indian education and professional training being of a good standard and reckoning, why despite that some students in India or even some overseas citizens of India should feel interested in the educational institutions of Pakistan or China when there was no value of such studies and degrees obtained neither for pursuing higher studies nor in respect of getting a job anywhere either in Government or in private owned concerns. It is also necessary that the Government of India should not, at the outset, allow at all any such student travel to these countries for studying purposes.
