JAMMU, Dec 8: In a meeting of senior BJP leaders who also remained former Mayors and Deputy Mayors of Jammu including former Mayors-Rajinder Sharma and Chander Mohan Gupta along with former Deputy Mayors, Purnima Sharma and Baldev Singh Billowria, it was highlighted that membership of world’s largest political party BJP has increased immensely.
Speaking in the meeting Rajinder Sharma said that under the leadership of PM Modi the nation is in strong hands and there is no fear from situation like Bangladesh in our country.
He said that last year the BJP membership has crossed 10 crore mark at national level aggregating to 16 crore membership while at the level of J&K UT it has crossed 6.75 lakh aggregating to 16 lakh and this year these figures will definitely cross surprising levels.
“These astonishing figures reflects the hard work of party workers and the strong leadership with broad vision by PM Modi at the helm for the country,” Sharma maintained adding that ideology of the Party is equally responsible for the upswing in its graph.
The former Mayor of Jammu further said that even after completion of tenure, the BJP councilors of JMC are still working in their respective Wards and are listening to the issues of the public in routine.
“This is what makes BJP a party with difference,” he continued.
Former Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta urged the public of J&K to support and join the BJP for strengthening the nation by giving a missed call at 88002024.
“By making India strong, we can ensure world peace and progress and the nation has seen this in the last 10 years of BJP rule in the country under the leadership of PM Modi and his team,” he maintained.
Former Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma said that India will become Vishav Guru only under the rule of BJP led Government and PM Modi has shown the path for that.
Another former Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billowria said: “The achievements like Ram Temple and abrogation of Article 370 from J&K along with surgical strikes at terror camps in Pakistan have proved the courage and guts of BJP which has established the party as the one with bold initiatives.”
