JAMMU, Feb 2: RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Manmohan Vaid today said that Government of India should firmly tell Pakistan that dialogue and violation of cease fire can’t go together and it will have serious consequences.
Mr Vaid, who was talking to reporters at the sidelines of inauguration of the newly constructed Trikuta Yatri Niyas Complex in the premises of Ved Mandir here today, said that dialogue and cross border terrorism can’t go together and India should tell this in unequivocal terms to Pakistan.
Pakistan should be told that it should not consider the good gesture of India in promoting good neighborly relations with her as a weakness of our country, he said, adding in past Pakistan has always betrayed India and back stabbed it so the GoI should firmly tell the neighboring country to desist from such game plan as it will have serious consequences for promotion of peace in Sub-Continent.
Expressing grave concern over the role of some political parties in the country who are misleading the people on the name of religion, Mr Vaid said Dharam is above all and pure but some political parties under the garb of secularism try to defame dharma which is not good.
He said RSS is wedded to national cause and it will teach people about its policies and programmes. The organization is working for the unity among Hindus and strengthen the nation, he added.
The function was attended by a large number of citizens and members of various organizations. Prominent among them included Rameshwar Dass, Brig (retd) Suchet Singh and Sat Pal Gupta.
While congratulating the trustees of the Sansthan, Mr Vaid said that they have indeed taken a very noble project in their hands. He said as per the teachings of Hindu Dharma a person has to keep himself starve and serve the food to a guest who enters his house though he has nothing to cook for himself and his family later.
He said that a building like dharamshala with basic facilities surely serves to the pilgrims coming from different parts of the country. The hospitality provided in dharamshala is also reflection of the social mindset of people of that area, he added.
He said that although half built, this complex will prove to be a place of social, religious and cultural values. It may be recalled that only two stories of the dharmashala are yet complete and were opened for yatris while two stories are yet to be constructed.
Manmohanji Vaid said that the people should also concentrate on the upliftment of the society and the concept of constructing Dharanshala is based on the social cause. A dharamshala can be beneficial for promoting the teachings of a religion and “while doing so we can give a new direction to the society’’. He appealed the people to come forward and become a part of the social cause being undertaken by any organization.
Mata Vaishno Lok Kalyan Sanstha President Sat Pal Gupta, while giving details of this complex said that it has 13 rooms, 2 halls, 1 canteen, 1 kitchen, 1 block of bathrooms and toilets. He said that an amount of Rs. 80 lakh has been spent so far on these two stories and it is estimated that the whole complex of four stories will cost Rs. two crore and will be completed within two years.
Ved Mandir President Amar Chand Gupta, said construction of a dharamshala is indeed a noble cause and to donate for its construction each one of us should induce the habit of making donations in younger generation.
The programme concluded with the singing of national anthem and distribution of Prashad.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Mata Vaishno Lok Kalyan Sansthan secretary, Sat Sharma (CA).
