SRINAGAR, June 11: Bhartiya Janta Party’s (BJP) spokesperson Abhijeet Jasrotia today said that India is on the path to become a “Viksit Bharat” (developed nation) under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He was addressing a press conference at Town Hall Baramulla, accompanied by the BJP District president and other senior leaders. Jasrotia credited the Modi government for making India the fourth-largest economy in the world.
Referring to the recent Operation Sandoor, he said India’s use of advanced technology and its swift response to Pakistan highlight the country’s growing strength and strategic capabilities. “India has emerged as a powerful nation on the global stage,” he said.
The press conference marked the completion of 11 years of the Modi government, being celebrated under the theme “Viksit Bharat, Amrit Kaal, Seva, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan” (Developed India, Golden Era, Service, Good Governance, Welfare of the Poor).
Jasrotia also reviewed party activities and held discussions with BJP workers from Baramulla. He urged them to further strengthen the organization at the grassroots level and ensure wider public outreach
Later, he visited exhibitions with party workers that showcased major achievements of the Modi government over the last decade, including infrastructure development, welfare schemes, and advancements in technology and defense.
