Medical Allowance is given to employees and pensioners to meet their medical expenses. But the amount being paid is totally inadequate and doesn’t commensurate with heavy expenses on medical treatment. Sky-touching prices of medicines have virtually shaken the back bone of those who suffer from diseases. In old age, when a pensioners land in multiple ailment zone, the meager amount of medical allowance acts as a drop in ocean.Obviously, continuation of the allowance on existing rate is absolutely injustice. The Govt is, therefore, requested to kindly consider enhancement of the allowance justifiably to redress the grievances of millions of employees pensioners.
