JAMMU, Nov 6: A two- day workshop for students of MCA was organized by Institute of Management Science (IMS) at the Department of Computer Science (IMS).
The workshop was conducted by senior trainer Adeep Malmotra from HCL Technologies, Jammu on the topic ASP.NET AND WINDOWS STORE APP.
In this workshop, the students acquainted themselves with latest technologies used for web development by Microsoft and also covered the windows store App. The trainer covered all the parts of ASP.NET (single file page model, code behind page model, MVC) so that the students can come to know about the difference between these three models and also the pro’s and con’s of these three models.
Prof J R Dhotra, Director IMS and Asstt Prof Archana Sharma, Incharge, Department of Computer Science (IMS) threw light on aims and objectives of the workshop. Other faculty members, including Asstt Prof Surjeet Kumar, Asstt Prof Harpreet Singh, Asstt Prof Radhike Sawhney and Asstt Prof Megha Zutshi were also present in the workshop.
