JAMMU, Jan 17: Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), Jammu hosted an engaging Orientation Programme for MBA, BBA and BCA students to motivate and inspire them for the academic session ahead.
The event was attended by Director IMS, Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, Department Coordinators, faculty members and students and it featured thought-provoking sessions, interactive activities and valuable insights to empower students for a successful future.
Dr. Meenakshi Sharma commenced the programme with an invigorating speech emphasizing the importance of dreams, resolutions and adaptability in achieving success.
The first day included an enlightening session on ‘Achieving Problem-Solution Fit and Product-Market Fit’ by Divya Jamwal, Coordinator of Management Department.
This was followed by an interactive session ‘Innovate & Inspire: Tagline Creation Activity’ where students creatively developed taglines as part of a team-building exercise.
Second day of the event started with a captivating lecture on Work Ethics, by Nidhi Jamwal, Soft Skills Trainer & Life Skills Coach.
This was followed by an insightful session by Gurshish Kour.
Later, the ‘30,000 Money Challenge’ activity was held, encouraging the students to learn effective budget allocation and strategic decision-making in a simulated entrepreneurial setting.
The event concluded with vote of thanks by Divya Jamwal.
