JAMMU, May 23: Sheikh Imran, Chairman, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), J&K State Council, will accompany the President of India during his visit to China.
Sheikh Imran, the CII chairman, the son of the soil, will be accompanying the President of India Pranab Mukherjee for the State visit to China from May 24 to 26, as a member of CII Business Delegation to Guangzhou.
Imran is a leading entrepreneur from Jammu and Kashmir and has been a pioneer in leading many innovative ventures in the State. Dr Naushad Forbes, president CII, will be leading the delegation to China.
He has been leading the CII initiatives of improving ranking of J&K on Ease of Doing Business Index, submitting a startup scheme for the State, smart city mission and promoting tourism of Jammu and Kashmir at global level.
