JAMMU, Apr 16: On the eve of Good Friday and Easter an impressive procession was taken out in Jammu today.
The procession was organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Churches Fellowship (JKJCF).

Good Friday is the day when Jesus Christ offered himself on the cross as sacrifice for the Sins of Mankind and Easter is the day when Jesus Christ rose again from the dead.
Different Churches of Jammu city and around participated in the rally with trollies depicting the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Choirs from churches sang songs about the life, death and rising again from the dead.
Scenes of Jesus Christ carrying the Cross and being beaten by the Roman soldiers were the main attraction of the procession.
People appreciated every part of the procession. The market associations welcomed the rally at many places and provided refreshment to the participants.
The procession was organised under the chairmanship of Shoukat Peter, Musraf Bhatti, Robin Bhatti, Rohil Mattoo, Polas Gill, Stonious Bhatti, Stephen David, Younas Masih, Novamanikam, George Kutti, Anthony Teji, Elisha Abhishek Bhatti, Raju Masih, Anthony Poras, Lovvy, Thomas Paul, Ashish Mattoo, Alisha Khonja, Sunil, Rahul, Zion, Simon Christian, Tarsem Masih, Hazar, Anoos Gill, Vicky Khonja, Stephen Gill, Dapinder, Victor Nowab, Stephen Gill, Joginder, Nency Gill, Sunita Rohin, David Babloo, Khokhar, Asif Gill, Nasir Mashi and Titus Gill.
At the end the president of JKJCF expressed heartiest thanks on behalf of the Christian community to the local administration.
