JAMMU, Sept 8: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) in a meeting today under the leadership of B L Raina while discussing the problems of the camp inmates and other displaced people from Valley expressed concern over deteriorating condition of road from Kandoli Mata temple to Jagti township.
Mr Raina said the road has become a death trap and immediate steps be taken for repairing it.
The meeting while extending full support to relief authorities expressed the hope that the problems of the displaced people will be settled on priority basis and demanded that immediate steps be taken for enhancement of cash relief.
Addressing the meeting S L Pandita president of JTC demanded implementation of PM’s employment package in toto, launching of special drive for the community youth in police by holding a recruitment drive at Jagti.
Rajinder Dhar, M L Akhoon, B L Dhar and others addressed the meeting.
