UDHAMPUR, Aug 14: Police today seized 32 pouches of illicit liquor from a bootlegger, who was intercepted near Chabutra Bazar, Udhampur.
Acting on a reliable information, a Police party, led by SHO Udhampur, O P Chib, intercepted the accused, namely Jay Pal of village Sambal Udhampur and recovered 32 pouches of J&K Excise liquor from his possession. Police arrested the accused and seized liquor pouches.
In this connection, a case under section 48A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur.
