JAMMU, May 23: IIT Jammu Director, Dr MS Gaur chaired a meeting with representatives of Indira Gandhi Govt Dental College, Jammu with regard to collaboration/ MoU between the two institutes here today.
The meeting on opportunities for learning and collaboration between IGGDC Jammu and IIT Jammu was held at IIT complex, Jagti. A team led by Dr Rakesh K Gupta, Principal IGGDC comprised of Dr Azhar Malik HOD, Dr Rachna Dhani & Dr Shamim Anjum, Assistant Professors Department of Conservative, IGGDC attended the meeting.
The Director IIT Jammu Dr MS Gaur spoke at length on the collaboration. He was flanked by the IIT Jammu faculty Dr Anju Chadda, Dr Siva , Dr Srinivasan, Dr Rajkumar, Dr Shantanu.
Proposal for technology and data exchange was prepared and it was decided that soon a workshop for various exchange programs will be held. IGGDC team also witnessed a visit to the workshops in IIT.
A detailed discussion was held to upgrade the research field in the Dental institute. It was felt that exchange of clinical data and laboratory data can ensure better patient care.
