IIM Jammu hosts training program on Contract Management & Arbitration

JAMMU, Dec 22: The Indian Institute of Management Jammu inaugurated three-day Executive Education Program on Contract Management and Arbitration for NHPC, a Government of India Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise, with a formal inaugural ceremony at the campus today.
The training program consisted of 20 participants from different parts of the country.
Dr Parvathy B, Program Director, IIM Jammu, in her inaugural address, highlighted the management perspective in contract management and arbitration, emphasizing how structured managerial thinking can help address complex contractual and dispute-resolution challenges.
Dr Naveen Goyal, Program Director, IIM Jammu, encouraged participants to actively engage, learn meaningfully, and cherish the professional bonds formed during the program.
Pardeep Saini, Program Officer, Business Development, Executive Education and Consultancy, IIM Jammu, highlighted that the program has been specially curated for contract management and arbitration, providing an overview of the three-day structure and its key learning outcomes. He also briefed participants on the diverse Executive Education and Consultancy programs offered by IIM Jammu across various domains and mentioned the completion of seven consultancy projects, underscoring the Institute’s self-sustaining and revenue-generating model.
Welcome address was presented by Mohd Arif, Executive, EE & C, IIM Jammu. The inaugural ceremony was coordinated and executed by Executive Education and Consultancy, IIM Jammu.
