
JAMMU, Nov 28: IIM Jammu concluded the valedictory ceremony of the International HR Conference 2025 at Mandapam, marking the end of a two-day event that brought together more than 150 academicians, industry leaders, researchers, and HR practitioners from India and abroad.
Held on the theme “Future of Fusion: Fuelling Innovation, Resilience, and Sustainable Success,” the conference focused on the changing links between technology, people, sustainability, and organisational growth.
The valedictory session was led by Prof Jabir Ali, Dean Faculty and Research, along with Conference Chair Dr Mamta Tripathi, and Co-Chairs Dr Garima Saini and Dr Sumesh P Soman.
Certificates and awards were presented to participants and researchers during the ceremony.
The Best Paper Awards went to three studies on inclusive leadership, green skilling, and digital transformation in the education sector.
A special moment of the event was the presentation of the book “Leadership Excellence: Cognitive and Emotional Competencies That Matter” by participant Sulekha Chandra to Prof Jabir Ali and Dr Mamta Tripathi.
Co-authored by Ashis Sen, MP Eshwar, and Sulekha Chandra, the book compiles insights from interviews with business leaders, senior bureaucrats, academicians, sportspersons, and entrepreneurs.
The final day featured research presentations across four key tracks: Sustainability and Well-being, Green HRM, Technology and Well-being, and the Future of Work.
These sessions covered a wide range of topics including responsible business practices, green behaviour, technostress, AI-enabled HR systems, digital empathy, hybrid work models, and Industry 5.0 readiness.
The conference concluded with the National Anthem and a group photograph.
IIM Jammu said the successful event reflects its commitment to thought leadership, academic excellence, and advancing ideas that support agile, innovative, and sustainable HR practices for the future workplace.
