JAMMU, July 11: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has initiated the admission, registration and onboarding process for the Academic Year 2025-26, marking the start of academic journeys for students across multiple programs.
From today (July 11) to July 13, the Jagti campus is abuzz with activity as students from the 6th Batch of PhD, 4th Batch of PhD (Working Professionals), 10th Batch of MBA, 4th Batch of MBA Healthcare and 5th Batch of Executive MBA arrive at the campus.
Upholding its student-first approach, IIM Jammu has curated a smooth and thoughtful onboarding process designed to ease the transition for both students and their families. Dedicated pickup services from Jammu Airport and Railway Station, along with internal transport arrangements including buses, e-karts, and cabs, have been made to facilitate hassle-free campus mobility.
A centralized help desk remains active throughout the process, supporting students with registration, document verification, and hostel allocation. These formalities are being conducted at the campus cafeteria, where complimentary wholesome meals are also being served to students and accompanying family members, reflecting the institute’s emphasis on care and hospitality.
A major component of the onboarding process is an interactive session involving students, parents, and the institute’s academic leadership, including Director Prof B S Sahay, Dean (Faculty & Research) Prof Jabir Ali, and Dean (Academics) Prof Nitin Upadhyay. The session aims to establish early rapport, encourage open dialogue, and instill a strong sense of belonging.
Prof Sahay stated that education at IIM Jammu starts even before the classroom and the onboarding reflects its core values of human-centric leadership and operational excellence. Prof Ali stressed the importance of accessibility and transparency in the onboarding framework, while Prof Upadhyay highlighted that a secure and informed start helps students engage more confidently with academics and campus life.
