JAMMU, June 25: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has been awarded for the second consecutive time for excellence in the implementation of the Official Language Policy of the Government of India during the semi-annual meeting organized by the Town Official Language Implementation Committee, Jammu.
On this occasion, Prof B S Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu stated that the award reflects the Institute’s commitment to preserving India’s linguistic and cultural heritage. He emphasized that the effective use of Hindi in official functions not only enhances administrative efficiency but also strengthens inclusivity and national unity. He further noted that such recognition inspires the Institute to continue innovating and excelling in the implementation of the Official Language Policy.
The Hindi Rajbhasha Committee of IIM Jammu, under the guidance of Prof B S Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu is making consistent efforts in this direction. The committee includes Dr Anuja Akhouri, Co-Chairperson, Hindi Rajbhasha Samiti, IIM Jammu, Cmdr Kesavan Baskkaran, Chief Administrative Officer, IIM Jammu and Ashish K Isher, Hindi Rajbhasha Officer, who have played a vital role in achieving this milestone through their commitment and efforts.
