JAMMU, June 21: IGP Jammu Zone, Danish Rana chaired a high level meeting of officers to review the security arrangements for the upcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra.
Mr Rana said that the security and vigilance should be enhanced in a coordinated manner besides proper regulation of yatra convoys on the National Highway.
Stressing for keeping contingency plan ready in coordination with the civil administration, IGP directed the concerned officers to identify the alternate places for accommodating yatris in case yatra halts on National Highway.
