IGNOU exams to begin from Dec 1

JAMMU, Nov 28:  The Term End Examinations  of Indira Gandhi National Open University are  going to commence from December 1, 2015 and will conclude on December 30, 2015.
The University has established 877 examination centres including 22 overseas centres and 82 centres in Jails for jail inmates.
Under Jammu Region, 28 Examination Centres have been established which include three Examination Centres in Jails for Jail inmates only.
Hall Ticket (Examination Intimation Slips) have been issued to 4,89,391  eligible students who had applied for appearing in the Term End Examination.  The hall ticket is available on IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in.
The students may download the Hall Tickets from the University website and appear in the examination.
The Examination Centres have been instructed to allow students to appear in examination, even if they do not possess the Hall Ticket (Examination Intimation Slips), but their names exist in the list of examinees for that centre.
Students have been  advised to be in possession of the valid Identity Card issued by the University during the Examination.  The mobile phones are not permitted inside the examination hall.
Separate Hall tickets shall be issued to the students of BCA & MCA for Term End practicals.  Students have been  advised to contact the respective Regional Centres in the last week of December, 2015 for their practical examinations.  For BLISc. (Library Science) all Theory Examination Centres are not activated for the conduct of Practical Examination.  Practical Examinations for BLS (Pre-revised)/BLIS (Revised) will be conducted in only one Examination Centre (Code: 1201), Luthra College of Education, Talab Tillo, Jammu. Students have been advised to contact the Centre Superintendent and see the Notice Board for Practical Examination Centre.
