JAMMU, July 18: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered that the Inspector General of Police (Traffic), J&K will now personally be a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Committee formed for the comprehensive review and improvement of traffic management systems in Jammu and Srinagar cities.
“In partial modification of Government order number 257-JK(GAD) of 2025 dated February 19, 2025, it is hereby ordered that the Inspector General of Police, Traffic, J&K, shall be the member of the committee constituted for comprehensive review and improvement of traffic management system in Jammu and Srinagar cities, instead of his representative,” read an order issued by M Raju, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department.
