IETE Jammu Centre celebrates Students’ Day in collaboration with MBSCET

JAMMU, Mar 31: The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Jammu Sub Centre (J&K), celebrated Students’ Day with the collaboration of Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology (MBSCET), Jammu.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of MBSCET and was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries.
The chief guest for the occasion was Mahant Manjit Singh, sole trustee of MBS College of Engineering and Technology.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr Vijay Sharma, Chairman of IETE, who explained the significance and objectives of the Student’s Day of IETE.
Presidential address was delivered by Tinny Sawhney, treasurer IELTS.
A series of insightful technical talks were presented by keynote speakers, who included Prof Parveen Kumar Lehana from the Deptt of Electronics University of Jammu and Er Joy Ganjoo, immediate former Chairman.
Additionally, Manpreet Kour and Gurvinder Singh showcased their technical presentations, adding value to the academic discussions of the day.
Dr Akshita Sharma concluded the event with a vote of thanks. The program was meticulously coordinated by Prof Parveen Singh, Dean of Academics, ensuring its smooth execution. The anchoring duties were efficiently managed by Nitika Kashyap and Navneet Kaur, students of the 6th semester, CSE branch.
Among the other dignitaries present at the event were Dr D K Gupta-Principal, Dr Amrik Singh-Vice Principal, SHS Gill-DSW and several faculty members.
The event proved to be an engaging and intellectually enriching experience, fostering a spirit of learning and innovation among students.
