JAMMU, July 27: Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Ministry of External Affairs Government of India in association with Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi and J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages is bringing world’s one of the celebrated theatre director Ratan Thiyam to Jammu.
This was informed here today by Regional Director ICCR J&K, Balwant Thakur, in a prèss briefing here. Giving details Balwant Thakur informed that Chairman of National School of Drama will interact with the theatre artists of J&K at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu on August 3, 2017 at 5 pm.
For the theatre fraternity of the State, this will be a life-time opportunity and a historic occasion to listen and interact with world’s one of the most celebrated playwright, poet, painter, theatre designer and director who gave a new identity to Indian theatre globally.
