JAMMU, Oct 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Branch of the Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today organized a one-day seminar on “Tax Audits” at ICAI Bhawan, Canal Road, Jammu.
A statement said the seminar aimed to update members on the latest amendments, reporting requirements, and practical aspects of tax audits, including the linkages between Income Tax and GST.
Eminent speakers CA Sachin Sinha and CA Sonia Arora conducted technical sessions on clause-by-clause analysis of Tax Audit Forms and the interlinking of GST and Tax Audit.
The discussions covered various clauses of Form 3CD, reconciliation issues, and recent changes in audit reporting.
Branch Chairman CA Sourav Pargal, in his inaugural address, highlighted the need for professionals to stay updated with evolving tax laws.
The proceedings were conducted by Branch Secretary CA Jatin Malhotra, while the vote of thanks was presented by Vice-Chairman CA Amit Gupta.
Other members of the branch management committee, including CA Sanchit Aggarwal, CA Ayush Sawhney, and CA Ayush Mahajan, also attended the seminar and contributed to its successful conduct.
