ICAI conducts CA Student National Talent Search

JAMMU, June 10: Under the aegis of the Board of Studies (Academic), the Jammu & Kashmir Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organized the CA Student National Talent Search (NTS)-2025, here today.
The event aimed to provide a platform for CA students to showcase their talents beyond academics and promote holistic development through competitive and engaging activities.
The two-day event saw enthusiastic participation from students in various competitions such as debate, elocution, essay writing, pitch deck presentation and quiz, where they demonstrated exceptional communication, analytical thinking and presentation skills.
The program was inaugurated by Sourav Pargal, chairman of the J&K Branch, who encouraged students to make the most of such platforms that foster leadership and confidence.
The event was efficiently coordinated by Sanchit Aggarwal, treasurer of the Branch, with active support from Ayush Mahajan, executive member and Amit Gupta, vice chairman.
Jatin Malhotra, secretary of the J&K Branch, played a key role in ensuring the seamless planning and execution of the event.
He appreciated the students’ dedication and assured continued efforts by the branch to empower and support the student community through such meaningful initiatives.
The winners of the debate competition were, 1st Prize, Aaishwardhan Sharma and 2nd Prize, Prashant Sharma.
Elocution Competition: 1st Prize, Amulaya Mahajan and 2nd Prize, Harshita Jasrotia.
Essay writing competition: 1st Prize, Nihar Gupta, 2nd Prize, Vanshika Gupta and 3rd Prize, Akash Phull.
Pitch deck competition (Team): 1st Prize, Gouri Sharma & Kunal Sharma.
Quiz Competition (Team): 1st Prize, Anmol Bucha & Tejas Gupta.
The winners will now represent the J&K Branch at the Regional Level of the competition.
The top teams from the national finals stand a chance to win attractive cash prizes and recognition by ICAI.
