NEW DELHI, July 15: The Central Government has approved the extension of inter-cadre deputation of IAS officer Abhishek Sharma from Chhattisgarh cadre to the joint AGMUT cadre (Jammu and Kashmir segment) for another year beyond July 8, 2025.

“In exercise of the powers conferred under rule 6(1) of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government hereby accords approval for extension of tenure of inter cadre deputation tenure of Abhishek Sharma, IAS (CG:2018) from Chhattisgarh cadre to joint AGMUT cadre (J&K segment) for a period of one year beyond July 8, 2025 in relaxation of the policy,” read an order issued by Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.
