NEW DELHI, Mar 29: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) while reiterating that J&K is integral part of India and dispute with Pakistan is over the PoK which has been forcibly annexed by it, termed the recent outbursts of Hurriyat Conference (G) as baseless and misleading.
In a statement issued here, today, KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri said that Hurriyat was befooling the people on this account. He said the recent statement made by Union Minister in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh reiterating the Constitutional position of India over Kashmir said entire nation as well as KPs solidly back Dr Singh’s statement in this regard.
Kashmiri lashed out at separatists for saying that Kashmir has been forcibly occupied by the India. “It was the collective will of the people of the State that then Maharaja signed the Instrument of Accession merging the State with rest of the country and the same was cemented further after its ratification by the Constituent Assembly under the leadership of former Chief Minister Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah”, he added.
