KPC smells rat in separatists offer for talks

JAMMU, June 25: Mixed response has come to offer of separatist Hurriyat Conference to hold talks with Government of India.
While BJP State spokesperson,Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo said that Hurriyat deserves Kudos in case it shuns terrorism and secessionism, Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) president, Kundan Kashmiri said that Hurriyat willingness for talks is nothing but to hoodwink the Indian Government and people to derail the Narendra Modi Government’s tough stand taken against separatists and Pakistan.
Chrungoo said that the Huriyat Conference needs kudos in case they have decided to shun politics of hate, communal ideology and sympathy for the Islamic terrorists. This indeed is going to prove as the change of heart. But they also need to come clean on the role of Pakistan in their dirty game of death and destruction in Jammu and Kashmir. “If Huriyat and other such elements want peace to get established in Kashmir, they need to support the Government’s policy to finish terror and terror infrastructure on the soil of Jammu and Kashmir.
KPC leader Kundan Kashmiri said they (Hurriyat) wanted to further misled world community, confuse the Muslims in Valley and use displaced Kashmiri Pandits as their shield for their vested interests.
He said that KP leaders should not fall in this trap as changing of colours by Hurriyat can be a serious game plan to strengthen the anti national forces within Valley. He said Hurriyat has no representative character hence talks with them will be futile.
It is time to initiate the process of re–organisation of the State and abrogation of article 370 without further delay. To take the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh as well as the KP minority community in confidence to redress their grievances, accept their genuine demands, like separate Kashyap Bhoomi within Kashmir will be a key factor to settle the vexed issue, he added.
