SRINAGAR, June 11: The Political Secretary to Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, Tanvir Sadiq met more than 78 delegations and hundreds of individuals and heard their grievances.
From the early hours today, hundreds of people from various areas, bee-lined the private office of the Chief Minister to put forth their grievances.
Tanvir reiterated Omar Abdullah Government’s commitment for equitable and all-round development in all areas. He appealed to the people to positively contribute in the efforts of the Government to carry forward its development agenda in a peaceful atmosphere
Deputations from Magam, Tangmarg, Baramulla, Kupwara, Handwara, Pattan, Srinagar, Anantnag, Pahalgam, Pulwama, Dooru, Kokernag, Bandipora, Ganderbal and other areas in their memoranda requested the Political Secretary to Chief Minister for upgrading and improving the basic amenities in the sectors of R&B, Water supply, Power Distribution, Health, Education, Agriculture, Horticulture and Tourism.
On-spot instructions were given for immediate redressal of their grievances.
