KATHUA, Feb 15: The Hindhu Sanghthan Morcha (HSM) led by its president Capt (retd) Gian Singh Pathania demanded the CBI inquiry in Asheefa murder and abduction case .
Holding a demonstration here, today the Morcha criticized the State Government and Police for harassing and torturing the innocent persons. They also submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Rohit Khajuria addressed to Chief Minister and demanded handing over of the case to CBI.
While addressing Capt. Gian Singh Pathania alleged that the Crime Branch is harassing the innocent persons and fair inquiry has not been initiated into the matter. He warned that if the Government fails to order fair inquiry, it will lead to serious consequences. He demanded to release the innocent persons and hand over the case to CBI for fair inquiry so that culprits may be punished.
