JAMMU, June 30: A residential structure in Dhinday Khurd Village of Bishnah has suffered damage after it was struck by lightning this morning. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
The incident happened between 7-7:15 AM when the owner of the house, Sansar Chand, his wife, and son were sleeping.
“After hearing a powerful bang, I rushed outside the home in a panic to check the source of the mysterious sound,” Sansar Chand said.
“Later, I found a portion of the roof of my house, some fans, electric wires, and an inverter damaged in the lightning strike,” he said.
Chand has appealed the administration for immediate help to rebuild his home.
