UDHAMPUR, June 20: Burglars struck in a house at Ekta Vihar, MH Road, and decamped with gold ornaments worth more than Rs 5 lakh, here last night.
According to Police, theft took place around 11 pm at the house of Rajesh Kholi, when his wife Vijay Kumari had to her parental house, which was situated nearby. After Vijay Kumari came back, she found lock of the main gate broken and the article of her house lying in disorder. She also found that gold ornaments of about 200 gms were missing.
On being informed, Police teach reached the spot and started investigation besides registering a case in this connection at Police Station Udhampur.
