JAMMU, Dec 23: Pacca Danga police arrested a history sheeter.
As per police sources, police arrested one history sheeter from the heart of the city who was wanted in several cases, especially evading arrest in a mobile and cash snatching incident on a complaint lodged by a one Nagrota resident.
A team headed by SHO Police Station Pacca Danga Inspector Raghubir Choudhary this evening nabbed the wanted hardcore criminal identified as Ajay Partap Singh alias Abbu of Narayana Mohalla, Jammu who was evading his arrest in a case FIR Number 199/2021 under Sections 382 and 323 IPC of Pacca Danga Police Station.
The case was registered after a complaint was lodged by one Mahim Raina of Kamni Market, Nagrota Jammu wherein he had stated that the accused had snatched his Mobile Phone and cash Rs 1600 near Firemint, Exchange Road Jammu on November 29, 2021.
Snatched phone has been recovered from him.
He is a history sheeter and already involved in14 different cases registered against him at Police Stations Bakshi Nagar, Nawabad, Gandhi Nagar and Pacca Danga.
Further questioning of the accused is going on.
