Historical decision

I
Sir,
9th of November 2019 will go down as a Red Letter Day in the history of judiciary of India when the long pending decision of Ayodhya Ram Mandir Janam Bhoomi dispute was pronounced by a jury of 5 prominent judges headed by CJI Ranjan Gogoi.
The decision has been accepted by all hues of political, social religious organisations besides legal luminaries, though there were also others who were not satisfied. However, it may be said here that the decision will go a long way in fostering communal harmony and brotherhood in this land of diverse faiths and customs.
The Prime Minister’s Government is going to fulfill slowly and steadily the promises made during the election days and arriving at historical decisions. Prominent among them being Triple Talaq, abrogation of article 370 and 35 A including the present one. The time is not far away when other historical decisions pertaining to the country will take place in quick succession.

Sir,
After the lapse of 70 years, Supreme Court of India on 9th of Nov. 2019 settled Ram Janam Boomi, Babri Masjid dispute in its historic verdict comprising five judge Bench. The verdict asserted construction of Ram Temple at the site of disputed land. The entire 2.77 acre of dispute land is granted to deity Ram Lalla. The judgement records that faith of Hindus that Lord Rama was born at the site was undisputed and He is symbolically the owner of the land.
The verdict of the Supreme Court has been hailed by the people of India. The scales of justice have been maintained. The verdict of the Apex Court is nobody’s win or defeat but win of truth over falsehood.
