KATHUA, Dec 14:A Hindu conference of Fintar Mandal was held at the Dussehra Ground, Fintar, in the Billawar region of Kathua district.
Thousands of people, including women and men from nine villages, participated in the event.
The Dussehra Ground echoed with “Jai Shri Ram” chants. The conference was graced by the presence of the patron of Brahmarishi Bawra School as the chief guest, Department Pracharak of RSS Anurag as the main speaker, revered saints, and retired Sub-Inspector Kuldeep Kumar, the chairman of the Organizing Committee.
The programme began with cow worship and lighting of the lamp. Sister Neeraj presented her thoughts on the topic of Panch Parivartan (five transformations). The chief guest emphasized that society must stay united and change the atmosphere in homes.
Children-both boys and girls-should be given a value-based upbringing. In his address, main speaker Anurag Ji said that Hindu Chaitanya (Hindu consciousness) is a way of life.
A Hindu is a worshipper of nature who sees divinity (Narayana) in trees, animals, birds, snakes, and even dogs.
The word “Hindu” itself is vast and inclusive.
A Hindu prays for universal welfare – Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, wishing happiness for all. India is the only land that belongs to Hindus.
“We are truly fortunate to be born in India, and even more blessed to be born in a Hindu family. A Hindu says Ahimsa Paramo Dharma (Non-violence is the greatest virtue), but when it comes to protecting religion, nation, and society, he also says Dharma Himsa Tathaiva Cha (violence for the protection of Dharma is righteous).
“This is the same inspiration Lord Shri Ram, gave us – to protect the righteous and destroy the wicked. We must awaken Hindu spirit and rise above caste divisions”.
There were no castes in ancient Bharat; casteism arose when foreign invaders destroyed our culture and values. Lord Shri Ram embraced Shabari and ate her offered fruits; he embraced Nishadraj – this showed there was no caste discrimination in Sanatan tradition. Whenever Hindus have been divided, the nation has suffered division.
Today, Hindu society faces challenges like Love Jihad, Land Jihad, Drug Jihad, and Religious conversion.
“We must confront and overcome these to secure the pride and future of the coming generations. Our ancestors did not abandon their faith; they sacrificed their lives for it”.
