JAMMU, Dec 11: President of National Mazdoor Conference (NMC), Subash Shastri here today urged upon J&K Lt. Governor, Manoj Sinha to enhance Medical Allowance of J&K employees and pensioners from Rs. 300 to Rs. 1000 per month.
Addressing a meeting of NMC activists Shastri demanded release of pending DA/DR of 18 months from the month of January 2020 to ending June 2021.
He appealed PM Modi and Union Finance Minister to release the pending three DA installments arrears.
Shastri also demanded regularizing the services of daily rated workers working in various departments of J&K, implementation of all Central Labour Laws in J&K and enhancing wages of daily rated workers at par with that of Union Government.
Rajan Babu Khajuria, B.S Jamwal, Surinder Kumar and others were also present on the occasion.
