High Court Bar bids farewell to Justice Kotwal

JAMMU, Aug 20: J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu today organized a function to bid farewell to Justice Janak Raj Kotwal, who is attaining superannuation on August 28.
Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur, Justice Sanjeev Kumar Shukla, Justice Sanjay Kumar Gupta and Justice Sindhu Sharma, Judges of the District Courts, Subordinate Courts, Senior Advocates and members of the Bar Association were present on the occasion.
Senior Advocates B S Slathia, L K Sharma, U K Jalali, Sunil Sethi, K S Johal,   Sachin Gupta Vice President, Prem Sadotra General Secretary, Himanshu Sharma Joint Secretary and Chetan Misri Treasurer honored Justice Kotwal by presenting a  shawl and memento on behalf of the J&K High Court Bar Association.
While addressing the gathering, Justice Kotwal lauded the role of legal fraternity of  J&K as also the role played by the members of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu in extending their sincere cooperation and assistance in conducting the court proceedings .
Speaking on the occasion, B S Slathia appreciated the tenure and conduct of Justice Kotwal during his service in the judiciary ranging from Munsiff to Judge of the High Court. He said that the members of the Bar always felt comfortable while appearing in the court of Justice Kotwal.
