JAMMU, July 27: Security forces today recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from a militant hideout busted in mountainous Ramban district.
“Based on specific inputs regarding presence of a hideout in Harah area of Gool, the Rashtriya Rifles along with Territorial Army and Police this afternoon launched search operations and unearthed a hideout,” official sources here said.
They added that during searches one .303 rifle (Registered No 84837M), one Pistol 7.62 mm, 11 catridges of .303 calibre, one UBGL (in Rusted and Broken condition) and one Radio Set without a Battery (in Unserviceable condition) were recovered from the hideout.
